What is this Wolfe poll? It's not part of the bcs, so how does it effect the bcs?

if the wolfe poll has Alabama at 2, it's over. it's that simple really. if alabama is at 3 in the wolfe poll, okie lite goes. i see no reason for a CBS employee to lie about it so i assume that alabama is in.
i'm really puzzled by the sagarin poll movement though. oklahoma st didn't get half the points for beating a top-10 sagarin team that alabama got for beating a low ranked auburn team.
confusing to say the least. i suspect that it has to do with baylor beating texas.

I think the computer poll is made up of like 5 different polls, with the wolfe poll being one of them. I might be wrong

I don't think Jerry Palm would have any reason to lie would he? He seems credible.
