Jimbo is safe for at least three more years.

The more realistic Aggies will admit this.

Yeah . . . the terms of the contract were so one sided that we will just have to sit and stew about mediocrity. He is our overpaid Kirk Ferentz.

The good news is he will likely keep recruiting well and I don't think he'll have a dumpster fire year unless things really go off the rails this year.

That sets up well if the next hire is right.

NitsFan71,

I hope the Hogs blow the Aggies out!
And Arkansas won't lose to a team that lost to App State and is overrated each and every year!

Jimbo will be fine. We'll review at the end of the season and make changes if needed. Not overreact to a single game vs Pig.

Harsin is gone after this year, Jimbo is gone after 2023.

Jimbo loses to the hogs this Saturday too

Yeah - this is a big game for Jimbo.
Arkansas is a quality opponent.

The positive sign is that he quickly made the necessary QB switch to give A&M a chance.

King may be more athletic and have the tools, but right now Johnson is a better QB.

The money is already set aside to fire Fisher if it came to that. I don’t think it will. I do believe that he will be forced to hire an OC this off-season

It's very odd how you constantly pretend to be an insider on this board, for multiple teams even.

And A&M has zero leverage to "force" Jimbo to do anything.

Harsin for sure. Jimbo has a&m by the balls with his buyout. A&M likes other men having them by the balls so, I am sure that is why they put that in the contract. How much would it cost Auburn to get rid of Harsin?

Totally.
He's told us a hundred times how his .002% contribution to a Jimbo buyout has secured the future of the program.
Nobody cares, you cheap dork.

This is not true. A&M can't even afford to buy player's this recruiting cycle.

Dude is a clown show, pretends to have all this insider information and is then constantly wrong.

He also melts down massively when A&M loses and has to tell everyone that he isn't watching the games anymore for his "health and the sake of his marriage."

What a dumb question. Jimbo can lose the next three games and Harsin's seat would still be hotter.

Harsin because recruiting sucks too. A class like Jimbo signed will buy him more time I would imagine.

I suppose they also have another 50 million set aside for the next loser coach that y'all hire

Good point.

Both have the fanbases hot at them, but at least Jimbo is doing that right.
