I like our chance on the road more than at home. Sumlin ROADSWAG. Dude's road win streak is insane dating back to UH....

Manziel did a number on a tired Tide team that we softened up the previous week, but without the OL protection he had last year he might soil himself in Tiger Stadium. The kid could turn out like Honey Badger. You never know.

No, they can't because they are too poor and stupid. Also, we don't really need the money.

Bama @ A&M is looking very likely for the CBS night game, but if not, no way it lasts beyond LSU @ Bama.

pretty confident it will be LSU-Bama again, especially with A&M bama being so early in the year and there not being a good enough game for a doubleheader

No mention of the losses on the aTm o line? I think JFF is gonna have a hard time repeating what he did last year.

I'm much more concerned about our defensive front 7 than the O-line. Yeah, we lost the Outland trophy winner and a very good underrated center. But we have another Matthews kid playing center, RT Matthews who could have beeen an NFL first rounder this year moving to Joeckel's LT spot, and several other big uglies filling in.

That said, I do think JFF would have a very hard time repeating last year's stats... if he tried. Aggie RB's are stacked more than I ever remember, and we have a bunch of new highly-regarded WR's along with OM-beating WR Mike Evans. It will be a somewhat different look, but my guess (hope) is they'll still score a lot of points. The flipside of that is they may need to.

For the OP, that was just a silly question. Anybody can beat anybody else. I've no idea whether it will happen, but it should be fun to watch. BTHO LSU.

You LSU fans can keep praying that this fantasy comes true, but A&M will once again have one of the nation's top 5 best OL in 2013. All American Jake Matthews switches to LT, Ogbueghi switches from guard to his more natural RT position, Harrison returns at his guard spot, Jake Matthews younger brother Mike takes over at Center (was rated #1 center prospect in high school), and we have several very good options at the empty guard spot. In addition, we will have a legit 2 deep across the entire OL, unlike last year. If you are expecting a drop off you are going to be sorely disappointed.

It will be extremely fun to watch Johnny Football do to the Tigers what he did to the Sooners in the Cotton Bowl.

Ags' by 3 touchdowns.

Tigers looking for excuses....

LSU could very well be 6-4 by the time the play Texas A&M.

TCU, Florida, Georgia and Alabama are all very real options to lose... and if the wheels come off against TCU and Georgia? LSU is 3-2 and likely out of the top 25. There won't be much to play for and Les will have lost the team 2 games in to the conference schedule. 18 more players will leave for the NFL draft early, and LSU is officially the new Ole Miss. I put the odds at 50/50 of all these things playing out.

well, if a fan of a team that thinks it conquered football because it had one 10 win season thinks so, then it will happen.

More like is LSU wins 10+ games again, A&M loses every meaningful game in their horrendously weak schedule and JFF and Sumlin leave for the nfl.

You're right, Maximus. Y'all need not worry about JFF or anyone else. BR is an impossible venue to win in. Don't even know why we're having a game, tbh.

Don't worry.

All's well.........

the classic

Yall are unbeatable because you beat Bama last year, don't give up so quickly.
