I will tell you this about LSU Basketball

99% of the time, the best two players on the court are wearing purple and gold. That makes them a dangerous team in tournament play.
Next Saturday, they will beat Tennessee at the PMAC. Whether that Arkansas loss keeps them from winning the SEC outright remains to be seen, but LSU is the best team in the SEC, but Tennessee is having the best season.

I hope so. Tenessee looks scary but I agree that at the very least when waters is on LSU will have the best player on the court against anybody except Gonzaga and duke

Bama on the road will be tough. There will likely be a hiccup somewhere. But yes, Tennessee sets up well for LSU.

LSU moved to #6 in the RPI after last night. Tennessee is #7. If LSU beats Tennessee, you have to start talking about LSU as a 1 seed.
The polls will correct themselves this week. LSU will be a top 10 team like they should have been all season.
Kentucky is a 3 seed.
State is the fourth best team in the league but hasn't finished games well. 17-7 against the No. 11 SOS is a lock for the tournament. Auburn is in a similar boat - hasn't performed as well as it should have, but a lock nevertheless.
Ole Miss is on the right side of the bubble and Alabama is barely on the bubble. Florida should get some consideration as well.
A 7-bid league looks good. 8 if someone turns it on late.

They could easily have 5 more losses. Three games have went to OT and like 8 more were one possession games. LSU will be a popular pick to be upset in the first round regardless of seed.

No, the 1964 Arkansas football team was named national champions by 5 different selectors.
That LSU basketball team didn't win a tournament and wasn't named a national champion by a single external selector - not even retroactively.
