Tennessee hasn't played anybody with a pulse.
Their big win was Ga Tech who got beat by Colorado.
Colorado got beat by NW by 30+ points.
Texas has had a stout defense the last couple years.
I think it's a gamble to take Tennessee +6

It isn’t Manning holding back the Texas offense, it’s the playcaller. Texas’ offense is lights out in 2 very specific game situations:
-scripted plays at beginning of half
-when the game situation necessitates opening things up and Manning is allowed to just play
It’s been same going back to last season. Sark seems to be trying to force Manning to play into his system.. meanwhile opposing defenses seem to be predicting Sarkisian’s tendencies at a high rate... Not sure it’s really THAT hard to do when… for example, you literally run the same first play in every single game

I just don’t see us moving the ball well. The VOLS will likely cram the box and make Arch beat us with his arm, which he will. It may be close at half, but Tennessee will probably have some costly turnover - a pick 6 or a scoop in score - in the 3rd, and then Texas will put it away. I’m thinking something around 34-13.

Texas, once again, is no where near their ranking. And at the end of the season, it will be proven, again, they were not that good.
Tennessee could very well win. Texas is favored and "should" win.
But it won't mean anything if or when they do. It won't change Texas' status or legitimacy of being any better.
But if they lose......they will be exposed Big Time, once again as they usually are! Everyone accept TransU fans know the above well as historical fact.
