His run will be at an end soon.... never liked him when he was with Colotta in the mornings.

I'll just say this: "LSU fans are the only fans in the nation that find a reason to hate every single coach that has won them a national championship in football."

Paul Dietzel - check
Nick Saban - check
Les Miles - check
Ed Orgeron - check

Both were outliers. Exclude the best and worst and Orgeron is a 8&4 or 9&3 type coach. That's about right.

This year will be the worst, so last year won't be an outlier.

Jimbo was very obtainable. Our shite AD at the time couldn’t get it done because we wouldn’t put up the money and agree to terms. But maybe we don’t win a nc if Jimbo came here. I don’t know. But we definitely wouldn’t be in this shite hole we’re in rn. Big hire incoming after this year.

I was so delusional even when most people in this forum kept saying 2019 was the outlier but I kept saying 2020 was the outlier. 2019 was equivalent to a lighting strike. All the stars just aligned perfectly. Hes a failure as a coach everywhere he has been and the off the field issues are an embarrassment to this state. He hires coaches without even interviewing them. He hires a convicted felon on his staff as his propaganda machine, Has pictures of him all over internet with trashy sluts and doesn't care that is gets posted. LSU settled for this guy because all the top targets turned down the job. I hope he gets axed during the season

I was wrong about Orgeron and he deserve another chance! Give it another year to fix what he got it right in 2019! :)

. If a coach like Napier came in, cleaned up the culture, instilled some discipline, it would be a new ball game.

Thanks Jack.

We should hire you as the next LSU AD

Hope you and your family are doing well.

Definitely not, Jimbo wouldn't have got Joe Brady and doubtful that he gets Joe Burrow.

He was decent prior to 2019

Definitely has lost focus

Let's not forget he was on staff with Miami in the late 80's/early 90's, Pete Carroll in the early 2000's and has won a title at LSU. It's not like he hasn't seen and won titles and knows what it's like to be around championship caliber teams

I'm done with him. I wanted him to succeed, but if he's not willing to put in the work for sustained success, then he deserves it.

I’ve been done with him for years. Even in 2019 I realized the best thing he ever did was get out of the way. But being merely a walking and talking mascot isn’t going to work anymore.

I don’t think he’s stopped putting in the work. He’s still doing the same stupid shite he’s always done, he just doesn’t have the right staff anymore.
