I was told NFL players weren’t taking anyone’s roster spot

So where did these 2 players from last year’s team come from? Why did they not already have a spot unless it was Kiffin kicking them off to make room for Wright and Harris?

They're both out for the season and didn't have to count towards LSU's 105 number. Now with 5 for 5, redshirts don't matter anymore, so rostering them won't affect their future eligibility. Pretty awesome right

Actually they are only a Junior and Sophomore. Two players that would have got a bunch of PT on defense before injuries.
