Laughed at “Corndogs. This guy is Coach Fran 2.0. Everything I could have hoped for in an LSU Coach. Arrogant, condescending halftime quote: "We can't play any worse than that, well, it's my first game so maybe they can…"

We lost a game by 1 point with a whole new staff. Great thread.

Here is the glaring issue for Kelly at LSU - Notre Dame is able to handpick their schedule every year. It’s why they play service academies, Stanford, Purdue, Toledo, etc.

At LSU Kelly doesn’t have that luxury. He’s going to be playing the best of the best week in and week out in conference play. This is going to end in disaster for LSU. Kelly is used to playing Air Force and Boston College every week.

I mean when you look back at it, their solution to Nick Saban and Alabama was to go hire the one coach who put up the worst performance against Alabama in a national championship game of anyone.

I mean as a Bama fan i wouldn't say he is overrated. he consistently won 10 games a year at a program who has boosters who demand a lot. no, the talent isn't the same at ND as LSU but the expectation at is ND is extremely high. I dont care what program you are at winning 10 or 11 games a year is tough.

He's an average coach way in over his head at LSU.
