I think Saban is retiring if he wins it all this year.

He has been very emotional lately.
Wouldn’t shock me at all.

People say this every year, yet it never happens.
Bama people...where is saban at this moment (not looking at the upcoming playoffs) in relation to bears titles? Do yall think that that is one of the major driving factors for saban? Like can you see a scenario where saban wins one more title than bear then hangs it up?

Saban has 5 at Alabama, 6 total. Bear had 6 at Alabama

Here we go again. One of these years this statement is going to be correct.

Possible. He was noticeably emotion during the post game interview with Jalen at his side.

No, I think he'll do what he's always said - He'll coach until he feels like he can't do a good job anymore. He's not shooting for records. It's the grind and trying to make each team the best it can be. He hates losing more than he loves winning. That's what drives him. There's not some carrot dangling out there in front of him. It's the mediocrity coming from behind that drives him on. He'd be bored as hell not coaching.

Why would he, almost the whole damn team comes back next year

Don't see Saban leaving a national championship on the table with Tua coming back next year.

Coaching is his hobby. I think he goes to 2022, and then retires (why 2022, that would be 25 years)

Maybe he's just going through menopause.

Its possible but Saban doesnt seem to be the kind to worry about his standing in history (which is already solidified) but more so...can he still do the job and "teach" then he'll continue on. Personally I think he's actually enjoying it more (could just be my hope though)
