There are two on that list that I'm OK with us claiming, especially 1983. Go back and look at that schedule that we played that year and the end results (Number 1 and 2 lost, and we were number 3, and Miami jumped us in the AP at the end). OK with claiming at least a co-title in 2004 as well. We and the SEC as a whole got screwed by the BCS selection system that year (and one missed easy field goal by Okey State at the end of regulation to beat Oklahoma and avoid all that crap).
1993? Nope, but a fun year!
The rest? Have no idea, and who cares. If we were undefeated we would have as much a claim as others.

Chuck Oliver said it's embarrassing and that objectively carries more weight than Auburn "fans" projecting on a message board.

I'm going to concede on this....I actually agree, Auburn got screwed that year. I was never a fan of the BCS and thought it was a joke. In 2007, the NC game should have been UGA vs USC instead of LSU vs Ohio st. Us and USC were the 2 best teams in the country and even ESPN pundits were claiming it. But we too were victims of the B ull C rap S ystem and all of the ridiculous computer protocols, etc. So yeah, go ahead and hang a banner for 2004 IMO.

Because that fat f*ck is on the radio, that means it carries more weight? He is one of many in the sad ATL sports radio landscape. Nobody cares what he says, especially Auburn fans. He is a cuck to uga and bama fans and is always taking backhanded shots at Auburn.

frick that. I love it. Gives the other fans a rash. Many schools have done it including Bama. So frick it. I’m glad we’re “playing the game”.
