They aren't good but they aren't horrible. They need the light to come on for one of their QB's or will end up around 6-6. Their top receiver being out will hurt the chances of that.

8-4 is likely and very fitting.

I think this is an Aggie win
Consider the following:
1) BK's team, thus far, has improved as the game goes on. 21 unanswered in Jerrden Herryaderrn most recently after a 17 pt. hole.
Chess, if you will.
2) Aggie under Drumphbo still tends to quit when shite gets rough.
Soff, if you will.
3) If Aggie loses to USC...unfixable headcases and will need very little to no help losing the next game.

I’m not convinced South Carolina is a sure win.

Lets see how this weekend goes for SC, but I feel more confident about A&M now than I did before the season, and in most seasons.

Not 9-3 but they are not as bad as some think. Play calling is too complicated is what kills them.
They lost to App St and Miss St... That's bad.
And yes I am saying Miss St and LSU aren't that great either.
Lots of mediocrity.

Somewhere between 7-5 to 5-7. They are in a state somewhat like LSU was last year. If they get destroyed vs Bama, the players might just mail it in and the wheels really roll off causing a losing season.

If Haynes King is QB when LSU plays them, I hope we sell out to stop Achane and make King throw 40 times. Dude throws an int about once every 10 throws.
If Max is out and Jimbo plays King over Weigman, we just need to go straight Wildcat and read option. I trust King's legs far more than I do his arm.

I think they could finish anywhere between 3-9 (if they lose all their remaining games) to 13-2, if they win the rest of their games

Nah, Jimbo is just too stubborn. There is NO REASON to assume A&M victories until we see the following:
1. A pass play called in a not obvious passing down (e.g. 2nd and 7)
2. OL blocking for 3 seconds
3. Defense lining up with more than 3 DL
We didn’t see that against Miss St - so I am not on board until we see something.

You think they go unscathed with Ole Miss, Florida, and LSU?

A&M isn't winning 9 games.
I have been watching this team since the early 70s and this is the worst OL line play I have seen in those years.
And it's not even close. They are just plain bad.
I give a pass to the defense. They are playing like 10-12 true freshmen a week on that side of the ball. There are flashes of potential but players are out of position a lot or get beat on fundamental things. And for the first time in a couple of decades our DBs actually have some coverage skills. On that side of the ball it will eventually come together, bu the offense makes me puke.
