I still feel that 2008 Gators was the best team ever to win the SEC

No shade at lsu. But that Florida team was legendary from the defense to Tim tebow. I would put money on them vs any team out of the sec. Percy Harvin, spikes and all those guys

We were nasty. I'd say that team would give any a game for sure. Nasty in every area too. Just had a really bad game vs Ole Miss sadly.
Certainly had a way better defense than 2019 LSU though.

Meh. A very good team. Spread at its peak. Just shredding people. But not anything close to LSU’s offense.
But only with Percy healthy. Not nearly as effective without him.
Defense was nasty but best ever teams don’t lose 5 turnovers to ole miss.

I’ll never forget the arse whooping they put on us in 2008 after 2007 lol. If they have their shite together vs OM I would have considered them one of the best in SEC. but damn...OM?! I still wonder wtf happened. You guys probably wouldn’t have ended like you did though w/o that loss.

Turnovers. I was there for that disaster.
Add in we didn't use Demps and Rainey as well. After that game we started using them more and the offense was a lot better.

They were a great team with LOADS of talent everywhere but you gotta be great or win even if you have an off week to be in the "best team" category.LSU did that and their defense was much better at the end of the season.

Yep, that same Ole Miss team that stomped LSU 31-13 in Baton Rouge.
