Some of you will think of him as the greatest coach of all time. I’ll always think of him as the coach who quit once the playing field got leveled with NIL. He could no longer cheat.

It’s a fact he quit when the going got tuff and the playing field more even.

Good. I hope his voice carries some weight on the topic if it'll help alleviate some the chaos and hopefully create a structure with sensible rules and guidelines.

Maybe. It's arguable. But I generally don't waste my time trying to turn opinions into facts.

Ok. I certainly won't tell you what to think.

I don't know that he did or did not cheat. I have seen no proof either way. So for now, he still has my respect.

I think he just wasn't up to having to recruit his entire roster every year. It would have been much worse for him at Alabama, because his entire roster was 5 and 4 star guys, many of which weren't playing. They' would have been prime targets for other schools.

He didn't have anything to prove. Good time to retire.

NIL is the worst thing to happen to college football. Saban simply wants it to be controlled. His toenail knows more about college football than you.

In the SEC, we honor our legends. Saban said nothing wrong. Your post is trash.
