Another reason is he wasn't thought very highly of by NFL scouts.
Neither was Tom Brady, James Harrison, Rod Smith, etc..

Oh, and FWIW I think Dre is going to have a breakout year.

I get why people always wanted to compare AJ and Julio, but the comparisons never really made sense as they are two totally different types of WRs. 2 completely different skill sets.

One catches balls and the other drops balls.

Well, he sure as hell didn't against Auburn for three years.

DA will have an NFL career that mirrors DJ Hall. Another big producer in college.

Only Darvin has a much better attitude and motivation to feed his 2 or 3 children.

Which has absolutely nothing to do with who is better.
Several top ten WRs that have gone into bad QB situations, and organizations that are unsettled, have not lived up to their billing.

AJ had 3 different QBs throwing to him in college and still produced. I don't think an unsettled QB is going to keep him from succeeding in Cincy.
It matters a bit more in the NFL.

D.J. would still be in the NFL if he didn't love Mary Jane so much.

Darvin won't amount to anything in the NFL

In fairness, Julio was kind of overrated.

It's funny how you assumed Julio was the one that dropped balls.

I think Julio's physicality will put him over AJ in the NFL. JMO.

i'll be the first one to admit that i didn't think Julio was that fast, and i sure thought AJ looked faster/better athlete. FWIW, what you do come gametime is the difference, and AJ always looked better on the field.
