This past weekend, in a Texas high school football playoff game, an Oklahoma commit, scored a touchdown and flashed the "horns down" symbol.
The Texas high school football official threw a flag and penalized the team on the next kickoff.
And people wonder why no one wants anything to do with them?
This state has many Division 1 schools and the fact that the second largest school has that much influence on athletics in this state is criminal.

I mean I suppose we'll listen, but I'm not losing sleep about it either way. I do hope we play them again because I enjoyed the game and rivalry, but don't really care that much either way.

No one really wonders that at all. It's clear you guys have an outstanding chip on your shoulders and are somehow emotionally invested in getting folks in the SEC to love you, and getting them to hate Texas. It comes across as whiney and bitchy, but you ag posters on this board seem to revel in it.
Meanwhile, LSU, Alabama and the Sugar Bowl Committee seem to want to have at least something to do with Texas football over the next four years. And LSU and Alabama and Georgia will bring the hate without being little bitches about it.

We just do us; people can take it or leave it—doesn’t bother us either way.
