No. I say let us go back to the old SEC.
Take away those markets and let the old school SEC see what they can get. The Big 12, in particular, will go from being on life support to being the dominant conference in college sports.
If you are dumb enough to blow up the current SEC than you should suck it up and live with what you brought onto your conference.

I get it, although I love being in the SEC, our true home is the old Big 8, a conference just not feasible anymore.

Since SEC expansion, going all the way back to 1992, how many new members have won even one SEC Championship game in football, much less a NC?
