I agree with this, especially the last part, with one exception: I’d consider much of what’s posted here to be less “quality entertainment” and more like sludge. I often find myself wondering why I even come to this website, because so much of what’s posted seems to have little, if any, redeeming value.

Would be interesting for a psychology major working on their Doctoral to analyze everyone on the rant. The premise of the thesis would be why extremely educated and successful individuals come on this board and banter with the uneducated and unwashed.

It is an important distinction. Nobody at the CFP is keeping them from playing. Simply keeping their team out of an amateur playoff
