Bama wishes Deboering was anything like Kiffin I can assure you.
There are lots of colleges and coaches who have been doing the same thing, but no, we only make a big fuss if Lane does it. Oh the double standard and hypocrisy knows no bounds.

-You triumphantly got Kiffin- even though you can not afford him.
-You kept agitating a fight with Ole Miss
-Went the private equity route. Might as well be getting payday loans.

In the end, we went and hired great coaches, plain and simple. Just get the frick over it already.And why do you care so much? That is our athletic department for us to be concerned with, why do you care so much? We are not your team.

I don't hang with either of them so no, not really. But I do know that 7-6 teams that go under .500 in conference play don't garner much worry. Sort of like playing Middle Tennessee State or something.

Before Kiffin veers the whole train off the track in some long-winded monologue that has nothing to do with anything but some dumb anecotes-possibly partying with Kirby Smart in Tuscaloosa, a responsible reporter should say "No, Kiffin, Your dad rolls over in his grave because of you."
And then the world can heal.
