Missouri is what you get when you select a school based only on media markets. Now the SEC is stuck with them.
Maybe we can work out some type of arrangement to send Missouri to the Big 10 where they fit in a lot better and bring in UNC.

This forum has a lot of great posters and solid football insight — but yeah, there are always a few clowns in the mix.
Look, every fanbase has its share of emotional, irrational, chest-thumping fans (and trolls), especially in a league as intense as the SEC. Missouri might not have the trophy case of Alabama or Georgia, but the facts are the facts: since joining the SEC in 2012, Mizzou has multiple division titles, respectable bowl appearances, and several seasons where they were very much in the mix — including just last year.
If you actually run the win/loss numbers, Mizzou falls solidly in the middle of the pack and sits ahead of quite a few "traditional" SEC programs that rarely get the same criticism. Some folks still treat Mizzou like the “new guy,” and let’s be real — college football is full of gatekeeping.
As for the coach being a "geek"? Maybe. But if he's stacking talent and stacking wins, that’s all that matters.
At the end of the day, it’s sports. Grown adults arguing on message boards about conference hierarchy is always going to happen, but when the trash talk turns into pure delusion, it’s just sad.
Keep repping the Tigers. The ones who actually know football? They know what’s up.

I must admit they are better when you throw in the "Yer school sucks, yer town sucks" as well...
