I know we all like to hate each other here, but the SEC has to win the Natty this year.

The BIG Ten thinking they run the world might be more annoying than anyone fan base one this board.

I'd allow it for Vandy or Mississippi State only

Going to a nine game conference schedule just excluded 4 SEC teams from becoming serious Natty contenders.

Those four extra loses will push 4 SEC teams to a 9-3 record or worse.

SEC teams with a 10-2 record or better will face off in the SECCG, and increase the law of diminishing returns due to even more wear and tear.

If I were to bet serious money, I'd have to stick with the B1G due to the incompetence of one Greg Sankey.

No. No it doesn't. Besides, why do I care what other teams in the SEC do?

Bama wins it? Good for Bama
UGA wins it? Good for UGA
Texas wins it? Good for Texas
LSU wins it? Good for us

Never understood the whole SEC thing. Do we, as Saints fans, say "the NFC really needs to win the Super Bowl this year"? No we don't.

And if Lane goes 9-3 and gets left out of the bracket again like he did the season before last....???

A nine game circular firing setup will likely keep LSU out of the playoffs this season.

I would say that is a good season for a 1st year coach whose roster has had the turnover that LSU's has had.

There is a reason most sources have us ranked between 5th & 7th in the conference. Only ones saying there is pressure this year is the dipshites from other fanbases on this here board.

But I will also say, your post had nothing at all to do with my post you responded to. Nothing at all

You guys and the excuses, Your using a 9 game schedule as an excuse now not to get 11 out of 12 playoff spots? Come on. Win games, make the playoffs, and win the tournament. That’s it.

I know it’s a far cry from just getting your local media guys to vote in lockstep to pick another southern team as the National Champ and more difficult in winning one or two games but surely the SEC can win 3 or 4 games against good competition at some point, can’t they?

I will never understand the “conference pride” obsession.

I want Alabama to win it, the rest of yall can EABOD

If the Big Ten wins it again so be it

I was never big on conference pride but they have been saying the SEC sucks for 3 years now and have been correct.

I would like to see that change

I'm kind of in the camp of if Bama can't win it, I'd rather one of the other conferences win it, as the likely SEC suspects to have a legit shot would be even more annoying here if they win. Bama included.

What the hell are you babbling about?
Please highlight where I used a 9 game schedule as any excuse.

You can blame Saban and our commissioner for that.

Exactly, why would I ever want to root for a rival team? I won't hate on them, but frick rooting for them.

If it's Vanderbilt in the natty, sure. Go SEC. Uga? The B10 can roll all over them.

They’re closer than they’ve ever been. I could see it happening

People think we are entitled… It’s not my favorite thing about Texas to say the least. We indeed have big problems with entitlement.

But we are AMATEURS compared to ND.
