They're also on a different planet compared to LSU on offense.

And this year's MSU roster has scored 2 TD's in two SEC games: against East teams. UK ran the gators out of their own Swamp this year . UF is a LOT tougher than a lot of tigahs realize, the UK loss was not because we aren't good...we took them too much for granted and they ARE really good. That loss to UK just sets us up nicely to start winning and playing a lot HARDER. We were missing our key ILB for UK # 33 David Reese and he and CeCe Jefferson were both out...we now have learned to stay focused and play like our hairs on hair.

Mullen is such a breath of fresh air and has his staff from MSU with him,,,,Grantham has clamped down the defense even when we played without a first team or even a second cornerback...the third stringers played well.

Our second team corner Trey Dean # 21 is back and the other corner is # 5 CJ Henderson who will be a high draft pick after 2019. We have a good rotation on the DL...a transfer from WV is playing very well at DT, Adam Shuler and we have sophs DT & nose tackle in first rotation Elijah Confliffe and Tyree Campbell plus Tedarrel Slaton. # 11 Vosean Joseph is the OLB that hit Eitling into tomorrow at the 1 yd line preventing a score in 2016.
Safeties are still growing but can hit. Ol is our one issue at times but they seemed to get better in second half of games.
RBs is one of our real strengths, ditto WRs who will block downfield. Franks is progressing and has that howitzer of an arm that can make teams play careful. He is 6'6" 240.
Special teams has been excellent, great punter and kicker and we flip fields on teams and make them go the long way to score.

Should be a great gamer for non partisan parties to watch and see hard nose SEC football. I expect a low scoring game and the team with the most rushing yds at the end always wins. Bank on that. We usually start running the ball better in the second half after we "soften" up the other team. We wont be able to probably do much short perimeter passing against LSU. So Im anxious to see what Mullen dials up. The hot sun on the eastside of the stadium will make it difficult for the big guys on the OL & DL to stay fresh. One split second misstep by an OL will put Burrow on the ground.
Should be really good one.
