Yeah before the season started I figured Bama would lose at least 2 games because of the players yall lost and starting a true freshman quarterback. I underestimated how good Jon Allen would be this year though. That guy is a monster. Yalls defense is so good that yalls offense doesn't even really matter unless the game is against an elite team. Usually, holding a team to 10 points means you win, not with Bama though.

This season has been awesome. Not even close to a failure. No shame in losing to a team who has been aiming to get back to the championship after losing a close one, and has arguably the best player in the country.

Failure is much too strong of a word. It would be a disappointment. It would suck donkey balls. But we won the SEC, and were #2, do it would definitely not be a failure. Lessen the intensity, and the answer eventually becomes a yes.

If Bama fans should consider a 14-1 season with an SEC championship, CFP game win, Iron Bowl win, etc. a failure then please tell me what we should consider or call an 8-5 auburn team's season?

I'd be disappointed to get this far and lose but coming into this season my expectations weren't particularly high. At this point the season is already a success having won the SEC.
I don't generally feel the need to blame anyone in particular unless there's something egregious. Sometimes you just lose and Clemson is an evenly matched team as it is.
