I have no doubt that LSU is going to get UGA's best shot

All smack talk aside, UGA has a very good D and is going to play like they have their back against the wall. UGA has the best OL we will face and I expect Fromm and the run game to move the ball.

LSU will move the ball consistently as well. If UGA can force LSU to settle for FGs when we get to the red zone or force mistakes it will be a close game. Vs Auburn we moved the ball well, but broke down in the red zone and had a couple turnovers. I wouldn't be surprised to see this type of game.

UGA is going to need to win the turnover battle for sure, and I think the offense is going to have to move the ball more effectively and consistently than anyone is predicting to win this game. UGA is due to be lucky for sure... we’ve had a few games where we turned the ball over 3-4 times... could definitely use a turnaround for a change.

I'm expecting LSUs best. I'm hoping for UGAs best.

I think one thing is generally agreed upon.

Coach O gets his players ready. He gets them prepared for big moments. They have a reason to be confident. I just hope we can punch them in the mouth early and hang on for 60.

Yeah but we also got Georgia Southern and Northwestern and Utah States "best shot".

Since this is a civil discussion, UGA fans what is the talk about the offense moving forward. Obviously it is not high as high powered as say LSU's but is that a product of playing field position with a stellar defense and letting the defense kind of win the game similar to LSU under Miles, a young group of WR who the coaching staff doesn't really trust, or is it the OC?

As an objective observer. I honestly don’t see any way on Gods green earth that Georgia keeps it within 2 TDS. I know aTm is bad and Monde sucks but LSU defense looked competent for the first time all season last week. If the defense has it figured out Georgia doesn’t stand a chance. It’s why I also thought no one was beating Ohio State this year. They have played great in both sides of the ball all year. Regardless of offense faced you can still tell how good a defense is based on performance and not statistics. Bama had good statistical defense games this year as well but they stilll were not doing the little things well. It was masked by a great offense and poor competition.

Wrong. We're going to beat them by a LOT. Their melt will be minimal however. They know they can't win the big games.

The only reason I disagree is UGA has a great OL and DL. Coach O is right that they have the best OL/DL we will face so far (combined). I'd argue Auburn's Brown and Davidson are probably the best 1-2 DL we've faced.

If they can control the LOS' it will be close.

I'm expecting a great game, if our D shows up in force it won't be close but it will be asking a lot to shut down Georgia. I know that Fromm and Georgia aren't lighting it up Offensively but neither has our Defense (except for A&M). My only problem using Georgia v. A&M as the metric is that the weather conditions were terrible and that hampers Offenses.

I think overall Auburn's D is better than Georgia's but not enough to matter. Kirby Smart is one hell of a Defensive Mind and will have his D firing on all cylinders, Georgia's Offense is going to miss their key players but I don't see their Offense as one that is overly reliant on any one person.

If our O-Line continues to protect Burrow then I'm confident he'll find a way to win.

All in all I think LSU wins it, I just hope there are no injuries and that the SEC shows up in force this Bowl Season.

First... UGA lives and dies by 3rd down conversions. Fromm is generally very good at them. It appears that LSU has struggled against the better teams that you have faced. If LSU dominates defensively on third down, the game can get away from UGA.

As for troubles on offense, as with any thing it is usually all of the above.
In the rain, the playcalling has been bland.
In good weather, Fromm has missed some easy throws. But he also has trust issues with his WRs (poor routes and poor hands). The result is that he may be late on a throw making sure the receiver is where he needs to be or making sure the receiver has enough separation for a chance at a grab.

Your money stat for Saturday is third down conversions. If UGA is sitting close to 50%, then I like our chances getting points on the board against your defense. If we are close to 30%, then our defense will wear down with all of the additional chances given to your team. Our offense has a chance to shorten the game. Most of that will be on Fromm

They can play their little hearts out on defense but it won't matter with how bad that offense is

If some people don’t think this will be a very tough ballgame, they’re nuts.

Yeah, but will they be motivated?

For a spot in the CFP? Why wouldn't they be?

Dom Blaylock is very good. True freshman and coming into his own. Near 5 star talent. Kid is the WR version of Fromm (not flashy. Just wins).

Tyler simmons (sr) had a good game last week. We relied upon him early in the season. He tipped a pass for INT in overtime against Scar. Trust was a concern mid-season. He may be coming out of it.

Demetrius Robertson is good. He has good hands. Good routes. Doesn't win contested passes. But he has speed. If Fromm has time, Robertson will be a good option.

Kearis Jackson is rsfr. Broke his hand in game 1. Looked like a big part of offense in early game planning. Still getting rhythm with Fromm since returning.

For some reason, everyone thinks james cook is Alvin Kamara. He might be against sisters of the poor. I havent seen it against a good opponent. Every other fan will reference Cook as the secret weapon (I will be happy to eat my words)

UGA is a ball control offense. If they can move the ball well, score, and keep your offense off the field, you'll be in trouble.

Keep in mind that Swift and Herrien are good targets when in routes.

Unfortunately, we seem to lose yardage when they are checkdowns. We run so much that they are rarely unaccounted for. So standing behind the line of scrimmage doesn't net much (this is one of the reasons why Fromms completion percentage was so high early in the year and has dropped down since. He has started to throw the ball away because of lost yardage on checkdowns)
