My optimistic hope is that one team so completely destroys the other's confidence, they do not recover next year.
Either team doing that would work for me.

So what team you think will do this? Then pull for them.

I think Dabo would be an annoying winner. At least if Saban wins he will still look somewhat unhappy about something

Don't watch the game, drive to auburn and take in a swim meet!

Well I did say I would be cheering for Clemson to lose very very badly, so that should indicate which scenario I think is more likely.
All kidding aside. I am a fan of good football games and I love the philosophical contrasts these two teams represent.
I just think Alabama is better at what they do than Clemson is at what they do.
All that being said, I am still struck that I will be watching a championship game between two teams we have to face next year. I was hoping we would not see that again after Bama/LSU.

I know you picked a username for yourself that pokes fun at the SEC, to post on a SEC message board.
Almost as if you care more about trolling about the SEC than you care about extolling your own conference or football team.
I also know you don't know how to use apostrophes correctly.
So, thus I conclude you are a trolling, toolbag with poor grammar.

Happy New Year Bama Chick! Glad to see my favorite kindred spirit is still cracking the whip with board dimwits who don't know they are dimwits.

Honestly though. AU should not be losing to Clemson.
C'mon man......yall are better than that...

I feel you, I'm rooting for Clemson, although I believe Alabama will win, when I think about it, this Alabama team from where they were in the Ole Miss game and not having a QB at all to where they are right now and how they're seemingly on all cylinders is really missing the headlines and is nothing short of incredible.

Pains me to say it but not only is Saban the best coach, he is the best motivator as well. I mean this was supposed to be the weakest Alabama team in 5 years at the beginning of the year with no QB and losing alot on D and they just still continue to show everyone who's the boss.

Consider it a no lose situation and enjoy the game.

In the scheme of things, it won't matter. You're off the hook sir.

It's okay for AU folks to pull for Clemson. I get it. I was for Oregon in 2010. But, I don't understand the rest of the SEC not behind us.
