But I can easily root against Oklahoma
Hoping for a great series with OM beating the shite out of the Sooners.
Rebs, if y’all pull this off then we should meet up with both 2021/2022 trophies at the Mugshots in Tupelo to celebrate. Just make sure to bring some chicken on a stick.

I knew quite a few Rebs rooting for us last year. Yeah there is a lot I can’t stand about OM but I’d rather see them win it and make a great achievement for our state than to see Oklahoma get it.
There is a lot I can’t stand about OM especially the pretend preppy crap. It’s like using $100 wrapping paper to wrap a half eaten can of deviled ham with no crackers.
But in this case I feel like many have been humble and will appreciate it. It’s an opportunity for some common ground in a sport both schools love and support.
Also someone seems a little insecure that Mississippi has been more relevant in baseball than LSU. tDecline is real

Fun fact: I went to State. Ole Miss fans are unbearable (no pun intended) WITHOUT a championship. If they win, the arrogance will never stop.

It's the devil you know versus the devil you don't know kind of deal. And that Mugshots meet would be a great PR moment for both school's baseball programs.
Hey, we've got our trophy in Starkville. I don't care if they have one in Oxford too. It's a win-win for the state.

LSU Baseball swept Miss. St. in Starkville this year. We also beat Miss. St. in basketball and football this past year.
Looking forward to the 2022-2023 seasons, things will get better from here.

It's honestly y'all's fault. As much as everyone in the world shits on Mississippi as a whole, we tend to band together for stuff like this.
I would say I'm neutral, watching them lose would be funny, and watching them win would be cool point of pride for all Mississippians, outside of Hattiesburg.
I do feel bad for Oklahoma State, though. OU playing for their third, while Okie State sits there with the better pedigree and only one championship.
