Just call it what it is, you don't like the fact that he owned you to the tune of 7 in a row and 10 of 11 (not counting the Bama 2005 win being vacated).

This pissing and moaning about Fulmer turning you guys in is just about the dumbest thing the Bama fans post around this time of year.

Bama can roll off 50 in a row to UT but it won't change the fact that Fulmer, for that short period period, bent Bama over more than anyone else.

The ncaa was out to get Alabama due to items that happened in 1992-1994. Fulmer was not the only one to make things up about Alabama, but he also was doing things that the ncaa accused Alabama of doing. To cover it up, Fulmer gave the ncaa what they wanted and the ncaa looked the other way.

Yes, for a very short time, Tennessee was able to win against Alabama. However I wonder if that short term success (and 1 NC) was worth the destruction of the Tennessee program. I guess I need to ask a Vol fan for that answer. As an Alabama fan, and everything was reversed, I would say "no"

What Fulmer did tanked the UT football program for 15 years now and it is still going. Alabama may run the streak up to 20+ before UT wins again.

It’s amazing that the Bama fans still can’t get this right. I’m no fan of Fulmer, but it wasn’t just him that was a part of that Means fiasco. It was a handful of coaches and at the end of the day, Bama was, in fact, cheating.

You Bammers just single Fulmer out because he was your daddy in the late 90’s and early 2000’s.

The thing that pisses most Alabama fans off is Fulmer and Tennessee were doing the exact same thing but got off because he was a secret witness. No doubt we were dirty as hell in the whole ordeal but we weren't the only ones.

Could you imagine the outrage if Auburn or LSU were hit with severe sanctions after a bidding war with Alabama and it turned out Saban was the source of the NCAA's case?

The best was him pissing on his Lane Kiffin "It's Time" T-shirt. And then burning it. In the snow.

Lane MFing Kiffin.

If you are saying Fulmer turning in Bama is what tanked the program 10 years after the fact, that is some next level stupidity.

If you are saying Fulmer got complacent and rested on his laurels and that is what kick started the comedy of errors that Tenn has gone through, then you will get no argument from me. Most don't remember, but Kiffin had UT headed in the right direction and was a gnat's hair away from beating Bama in Tuscaloosa with 285lbs lineman. What really kickstarted the UT downfall was him bolting literally in the middle of the night for USC.

After that, UT mismanagement was the cause of everything.

That aside, read up on the Albert Means scandal outside of something other than a Bama website. Fulmer was a very, very small part of that. Houston Nutt and others were the ones that actually truned Bama in. Fulmer just gave one deposition about what he knew, thats it.

I still say the Bama hate for Fulmer has to do with is record against them and impotence of Bama not being able to deal with him. The means stuff is the birdie you all want to focus on.

You are cutting out some very good years.

Stallings was coach until the end of the 1996 season. His WORST record was 8-3 and his overall 93-96 (4 seasons) was 39-10 with 2 SECCG appearances. 1994 was particularly good, going 12-1 with a 1 point loss to Florida in the SECCG. Fran's short-lived tenure wasn't bad either.

The only bad time was the era of the 3 Mikes (even though one of them never coached a game.)

Alabama won the SEC championship in 1999. Beat a Steve Spurrier Florida team twice that season. Speake for yourself.

Many recruits I knew were asking why does Fulmer hate Alabama so much. They were saying they did not want to play for such an obsessed coach that would literally do anything, and they would not trust him. You might notice that at about the same time that Alabama went on probation, Tennessee football started its decline.

What? Tenn won the East in 2007, 2008 tanked, Kiffin bolted in 2009, then the bottom fell out during the Dooley and Jones years.

Fulmer resting on his laurels from 2005-2008 is partly to blame, but that night Kiffin left for USC is when that dumpster fire really took off.

Bama going on probation had nothing to do with the Tenn decline. Fulmer’s “obsession” with Bama is a figment if y’all’s imagination. Did you hear what Fulmer said about Bama in Pruitt’s hiring press conference? He respects the program and what you have achieved.

Far be it from me to defend Fulmer here but you guys have it wrong. Just hate Fulmer because he owned you. This other fantasy crap you guys post because you are pissed for getting caught cheating is silly. You are believing what you want, not what is reality.

So was Tennessee! It's not the fact that Fulmer turned us in, it's the fact that he turned us in AFTER we outbid HIM for Means. He was trying to buy players, a major NCAA infraction, but got away with it because he essentially turned state's evidence in exchange for immunity. That's why Alabama fans have no love lost for Fulmer or Tennessee. They can remain in irrelevance to the end of time for all I care.

Tennessee makes me puke in my mouth.

Here's to all Vols getting crabs, hemorrhoids, and a repossession notice on the trailer home.
