Subtle not so subtle brag alert - My condo overlooks the Fayetteville square and the towers of Old Main. Love it here..

It's because you had to go to college in shithole towns and either still live in said shithole towns or have to go back and visit from time to time. Sorry shitholes.

your post shows some spunk there laddie.

Arkansas is in a very beautiful part of the country and people are nice and friendly. for me, it is very isolated and the food is boring. oh, and the people on here are mad at pretty much everybody.

The best part of Arkansas dripped down from Missouri.

You're welcome.

The further away from Missouri you get the shittier Arkansas becomes. Think about it

Kinda true, but I always attributed the shittiness to those parts being closer to Mississippi and Louisiana.

You're either on Mt. Sequoyah, or you have one of those super high-dollar square condos. Either way, nice.

NWA is great. I'm marginally competent, and I get to live in a nice, tree-covered neighborhood, 8 minutes from my six-figure job. It's the land of opportunity, and the amenities here are getting to be on a par with any big city.

Then you got Little Rock which is pretty much the Detroit of the south. You don't go down there unless you want your teeth kicked in.

Also, I'm buzzed on incredibly good cider, which was brewed in Springdale, with local ingredients. Every bar I frequent has a plethora of local craft beers, local craft cider, and drinks made with locally-crafted shrubs and mixers. There's a coffee shop in my neighborhood (Onyx) which wins national awards on the reg, and I totally don't mind standing in line for 10 minutes for a cup of their batch brew.

Little Rock has some rough patches, but it shits on other southern cities of its size, frankly.

It has a good downtown, and good natural areas right outside the city limits.

It's weird that no high level recruits want to go there.

Getting them here is the problem because of the preconceived thoughts associated with the state. Once they’re here, see the region and the facilities they’re generally blown away. Now that we have a coach that doesn’t look like he’s gonna eat the recruits, maybe we can slowly change the perception and get some above average classes ..

I love Onyx. Their truffles are amazing.

Checked out the new Dave & Buster’s in Rogers the other day, pretty awesome. Still waiting for a Top Golf.

Best scenery in Arkansas is the airport, when leaving, forever
