I'm a realist. I've always called it like I see it, and I hope I am damn wrong tomorrow

Mullen has earned enough trust fixing the train wreck of a program he inherited. So I'll trust him going into the game. If he breaks that trust in the game. Then I'll doubt. If you can not understand just how far behind he was in 2017...then that is on you as a fan. We improved both years. If we lose this game outside of something crazy(Trask is rolled up on in the opening drive and Jones still is not healthy, forcing Richardson into action). Then yes. He is hard to trust going forward.

Last year Georgia was still lead by a veteran QB with a substantially better team all around. Year three...well we actually have a better offense and it isnt debatable now. So if he loses with that offense being healthy...that's on his coaching I agree. So only excuse I'll give him is a major injury to Trask or VERY bad clear ref bias that clearly fricks Florida over to an extent which every fan base agrees(outside of Georgia, they obviously will not admit it just like we wouldn't).

Good to hear someone else say this, State fans have been saying it for a while.

This always cracks me up.

He was whining this week about losing to UGA last year by 7 points. UGA had 8 possessions and UF only had 7. If only he had 1 more possession.

Does he not remember UGAs offense dominating in the 4th quarter? Grantham had no answer for our offense.

Our 8th possession was a 6 play drive bleeding 3:10 off the clock to finish the game in the victory formation.

Our 7th possession was a 7 play 75 yard drive for a TD.

At no point in the half did Mullen have the ball with a chance to tie the game.

He loves to misremember last year to the media. "If only he could have 1 more possession" LOL

At least they had made it to the SECCG before Mullen got there.

It isnt like Miss St never won a big game before.

Mullen is exceptional at winning the games he should win. His teams do have a history of shitting the bed in big games, see Bama 2014 as the most glaring example.

That being said, and here is the good news for you guys, the talent level at UF means most all games are games he “should” win. I expect the trend of blowing big games to go away as he starts to accumulate comparable talent to UGA, Bama, etc... Whether or not he has UF there yet, we will see.

This is an argument made by idiots who are new to CFB.

Jackie did not have a challenging West when he won the division. It was actually pathetically bad. Mullen had to deal with Saban at Bama and a very good LSU program.

To put that in perspective. How many times has Kirby beat LSU and Bama again???? Kirby would not have won the West either...and he is at year 5 at Georgia. If you think Mullen should be able to beat Auburn, LSU, and Bama in the same year at Miss State...explain why your shitty coach can't do it at Georgia?

Nah. We just played better. We had just lost to USCe and had 35 passing yards vs UK. We weren’t impressive coming into that game.

You did have a better overall team. Had an elite Oline, an elite RB, and a guy who went to NC at QB. Your team technically should be better every year with recruiting. UF catches up with scheme and development. So if UF does win tomorrow..you know why that is.

Mullen was trash in big games at State.

But UF is playing a team with a walk on QB.
UF should be able to out score them with Trask and Pitts.

This is truly pathetic on your part. We are as decimated as we have been since middle 2013, and your offense is on fire.

You mean he struggled vs premier programs at the worst school in the division?

I guess Franklin sucked at Vandy too by Rant standards.

Passing game and health. It’s an incredible Florida advantage. Y’all should be expecting to win by 20+.

I mean health I get of course. Passing game though...your coach has recruited five stars and elite four stars at the position. At some point does he shoulder any blame for the lack of production?

UGA still has a more talented roster even with the injuries.

Kirby has outcoached Mullen each of the last 3 years.

This is put up or shut up time for Mullen.
