I don't remember a game like OM vs Bama where the momentum changed as...

dramatically and so quickly as it did last night. I'm sure there has been I just don't remember.

It was an entertaining game to watch.

Yeah. It was weird. Usually a team (say LSU) just dominates the other team (say Auburn) from start to finish, leaving their players missing tackles intentionally because they don't want to get run over. I know exactly what you are talking about.

Pretty wild. So many ups and downs.

Bama fought tooth and nail; we didn't play to our potential and luck was just not on our side last night

I really thought Bama was going to come back when it was 30-24, then Kelly put what I thought was the dagger in their heart with that long TD pass. Even after that Bama hung around and had chances at the end. Credit Ole Miss for their mental toughness on the road, and Alabama for never quitting.

Yeah I don't remember a time when I was like....

Oh yeah!
Then, oh no!
Oh yeah!
Then, oh no!
Oh hell yeah!
Then, oh no!!!!

Might of been like that when someone tossed my salad once, but other than that, last nights game took the cake.

It was wild. I thought Bama was dead in the water, and then it looked as if your depth and conditioning was taking over. The defense looked nasty and Bama was going to pull that win off.

Why Kiffen passed the ball with so much time left and OM DL looked gas is beyond me? plenty of time to run that ball all the way down the field. Killed Bama's momentum completely at that point.

Both teams played all out and left everything on the field. One of the reasons I really love CFB.

Good way of putting it and pretty accurate.

+1
This has been a major issue a bunch lately. Not sure why Bama keeps doing this but it seems ever since Bama got better receiver recruits beside Jones. Bama feels obligated to throw them the ball or something. Even if the running game is obliviously working. Where I come from, if it's working. Do it until a team stops it. #2 Henry would've gotten 80-90% of the touches if I was calling the plays last night, especially after Bama made 30-24.

Its probable that Bama intended to do just that, pound the ball on Ole Miss for the remainder of the game. however, when bama cut the lead to 30-24, the rebels scored 2 touchdowns in a row. suddenly, the score was 43-24 and the Crimson Tide was behind the 8 ball for the 2nd time in the game. its really pretty simple why they threw the ball, wouldn't you agree?

For about 15 minutes Bryant Denny was absolutely awesome. The crowd that stayed during the second comeback attempt got into it too but it was only about 70% full at that point

I think we are more upset with the fact that we were throwing it deep when it was 43-37 with over 3 minutes left. We should have driven the field. Instead we turned it over for the fifth and final time.

, while this is true, I find it funny because the Tiger Rant basically has the exact opposite opinion of the play calling at LSU. They want pass plays called just for the sake of passing to our WRs, regardless of how dominant the run game has been.

Uncle Mo was certainly a fickle bitch last night.

This is exactly what my comment on Kiffen was about. There was no need to throw that pass down the middle.

It was a great game. I felt the same way. It was 17-3 and I was like "This could get ugly," then Bama came back to make it 17-10. Then it was 30-10 and I was like "Wow it's been a long time since I've seen them get manhandled like this." Then they came back to make it 30-24. Then it was 43-24 and I thought "What a tease, making that comeback." Then it was 43-37 and we had the ball with 3 minutes and I thought "Bama's gonna win this thing!" And then all hope was lost and somehow the offense had yet another chance at it with under 30 seconds. Really a wild game. Congratulations to Ole Miss.

My favorite thing about the game was the Gumps had their hearts ripped out like 4 or 5 times. :-D Aside from my trolling, it was seriously one of the most exciting games I've ever watched.
