Chode took 3 years to get smu to a mediocre g5 team.
Boom couldn’t even win at Florida.
Proot has never been a HC and got the job after the first 25 turned them down.
Chode isn’t HC material. I actually surprised he was considered a good OC. The rest of the staff isn’t sec level except maybe 3rd and chavis and he’s well past his prime.

USCe didn’t collapse. They are basically playing at their historical level.

I havent watched Arkansas play but if you think they are worse than us by a lot then they must be fvcking pathetic.
Then you're missing out. They just got slaughtered by San Jose St. Game wasn't as close as the score. At least UT looks like they sorta know what they're doing at times and kept it close vs. BYU.
Actually Vandy is pretty terrible this year too, but it's Vandy, so..
I would rank the worst like so (from worst to least worse):
1 Vandy
2 Arky
3 UT
4 USCe
You guys are lucky Vandy just happens to be regressing back to their old ways.

Mizzou probably gonna have a winning record but aren't they ineligible for a bowl this year?

Plus, Odom at Mizzou is improving and that's with ZERO HC experience (one year in HS only). I understand that we really don't exist in the average SEC fan's head. But ask USCe, arky or tenny. We live in their heads, while stomping their QBs head and in the end zone with another score.
I'm not a big Odom fan, but he's getting it done. He went out and got QB Kelly, he kept the team together thru a bowl band and coaches the boys up from being 3-stars. Mizzou is on track and the others...??? Results are speaking.
Here are the records of every program in the SEC over its last 24 games:
Alabama: 22-2
Georgia: 19-5
LSU: 19-5
Auburn: 17-7
Missouri: 17-7
Mississippi State: 16-8
Florida: 15-9
Texas A&M: 15-9
Kentucky: 14-10
South Carolina: 13-11
Ole Miss: 11-13
Vanderbilt: 8-16
Tennessee: 7-17
Arkansas: 6-18

TN needs to fire Fulmer today. They won't but he's the link to their successful years and that's the problem. You can't look back, you must look forward. Pruitt can't achieve his own pinnacle with Fulmer standing in the back of every news conference and meeting.
You mention problems that stretch back over a decade and want us to fire the guy that's been on the job for one year and who actually knows what success looks like.

Yeah, I don't get the Fulmer hate here. This is far from his fault.

Uh..we clearly are not talking about the same Muschamp.

Tennessee would be better managed by my dog. They are getting what they deserve.

Bad coaching hires and a season of doom.
For the Vols and the Hogs it is a long bad coaching hire. The sort of guy that easily passes the eye test at first and then slowly drives the program into the ground. Then you compound that by hiring someone who appears to be in way over their head.
USC is more tricky. The head coach probably has a lower ceiling then they'd like, he's sort of stuck in neutral and you just know even if the East completely tanks Muschamp is probably a 9 win tops sort of guy.
Their problem is that they get the "you've got a purty mouth" schedule this year. For a team that is painfully mediocre that is a death sentence.
Most seasons USC would win 7-8 games with this team. Maybe 6 if they get some bad bounces. This year with the upset loss at North Carolina and a spooky App. State team still lurking they could have an abysmal season and still not be that bad.

An App State team that beat UNC at that. Oh joy.

I don’t know that SC has “collapsed”
They’ve been to two straight bowls, and they’ve only lost one game (so far) that they were expected to win this season.
This year is going to be disappointing and probably won’t make a bowl, but they also had a very difficult schedule

Right.
This was not going to be their year by almost any standards, barring they knocked off Bama or Clemson. But it moved from "this could be painful" to "this will be painful" with the loss to UNC.
Yet, they aren't that bad. They lost a close game to an improving UNC team (yes, the Tarheads lost to App. State but that isn't the first P5 scalp they've claimed) and were competitive with the Tide for a while before Alabama pulled away.
Like I said, most years this USC team wins 8 games and goes to a respectable bowl game. This year they have that dreaded "get your coach fired" schedule going in a year that they really can't handle that schedule.

Our collapse happened when we decided to make a terrific baseball coach in charge of the entire athletic program. Now we suck at every sport and whats crazy is how fast the baseball collapse happened under his watch

They have delusional fan bases, and thus boosters and their athletic deparments are puppets of said boosters, who think a better coach will bring them success when what they really need to do is establish a real football culture in the locker room

So you only see two more wins for Mizzou here?
Troy
Ole Mess
Vandy
Kenfricky
Georgia
Florida
Tennessee
Arkantsaw
Mizzou is a bigger lock for a bowl than MSU right now, seeing as how they just beat the #9 team in the SEC and have games remaining against #10-14.
Posted on 9/23/19 at 4:39 pm to LATECHgradLSUfan
Pretty easy. Continually making poor coaching hires while division foes made solid hires.
