Funny how it's seems to be only fans from shite teams that are into conference cheerleading.

Like a built in excuse as to why they suck.

Rarely do I see a Bama fan be a conference cheerleader.

Because unfortunately you have to in the current system. Alabama was screwed big time this season because Tennessee lost to Georgia State and a bunch of Mormons. Stronger the conference the stronger your team is.

That didn't affect Bama whatsoever. What the hell are you talking about?

You're a Florida State fan. You should be shitting and spewing ACC propaganda universally if your theory holds true.

The stronger your conference the better you are and look to others. I believe the SEC is 6-2 this bowl season. So far.

I don’t understand why you wouldn’t. But, that’s just me.

And nobody cares because your opponents sucked. That’s why you went undefeated and still got left out of the playoffs, because, say it with me, your conference sucks.

SEC teams will make the playoffs if they finish the season with 1 loss. Why? Because year in and year out the SEC dominates out of conference opponents. Bowl season is a big part of that.

I agree. There are high school teams in Alabama and Louisiana who could do better that 35-4 in that conference. You guys shouldn't even be considered Div I.

Hasn’t had a winning season in over 700 days but you gonna lecture ppl on the how shitty teams conduct themselves....spend more time figuring how to beat ULM in regulation and leave the rest to winning teams

I'll respond to the lesser troll...

In the case of your conference (ACC), like ours, it establishes pecking order in the playoff hunt.

SEC has been very strong; and thus we've been not just always in the playoffs, but also got 2 teams once, and this year we were up for 2 teams again (most of the season Bama was in line for the 4th spot, UGA and LSU both get in if UGA wins the SEC Championship).
Pac 12 has been left out several years now, Big 10 also.

I think the Big 10 gets it, as they are also big into conference solidarity- go look at the coaching poll as to where they vote. Based on just the Big 10 coaches, Ohio State would be #1,... every other conference had LSU.

For the AAC, I would think you would want to show your conference can hang with P5 schools in bowls. I thought you wanted a legit chance to play for a title if/when you go undefeated... the argument against has always been your schedule is shite.

I think another factor is tradition and community. SEC schools, outside of Missouri, generally come from similar areas. I'm an LSU alum, and have worked with Kentucky, Miss St, Ole Miss and Alabama grads on a daily basis. I'm friends with Auburn, Georgia and Florida grads. One of my neighbors got his QBA from Vandy. One of my cousins went to Kentucky. I've got a friend in Chatanooga, and when I go see him I see UT, Auburn, UGA and LSU flags during football season, just in his social group. Lots of people who all come from the same background, they don't leave and "get away", they share the experience.

I assume most of the Big 10's footprint is the same; you play and "hate" those teams, but the students are your fam.
