I thought the Miami front 7 was stout and brought a ton of heat. I didn’t see that with UW. It’s all subjective anyway. Nobody really knows who’s what at this point.

Washington’s defensive front whipped the shite out of Auburn’s line

Washington would beat Miami by two TDS with ease. Chris Peterson is a master coach. Richt would have no chance. Peterson doesn't have the talent to beat the monster SEC teams, but he can lay waste to teams like Miami

No, but they certainly held their own.

We did put up over 400 yards, about 150 rushing and no sacks or maybe 1 sack I believe. It was pretty much a stalemate between their Dline and our Oline.

Honestly there should be no rankings to start the year. Every year we see these high ranked teams get smashed early while others do better. You can’t tell shite based off week one alone

Yep. Polls at this point are meaningless and first games are like a box of chocolates.

Hes already laid waste to a Richt-coached team in Atlanta.

Washington is NOT a quality opponent. They are about on par with Louisville.

I honestly thought that it would be at least until Week 3 for the LSU at Auburn game before the LSU fans went bat-shite crazy.

I was wrong.

Miami looked terrible. I was unimpressed. They may have the athletes, but lack discipline

And Richt is their coach?

I'm shocked. (<--- sarcasm)

As to the OP...thanks for a glaring week 1 overreaction. It's what makes CFB fans so fun to look down upon. Thankfully things will be settled on the field and not in the minds of fanatics.

UW did not whip Auburn's OL...UW had 3 negative plays. 2 sacks and 1 TFL. The 2 sacks were both on JS who held the ball over 4 seconds. Our OL managed over 400 yards of offense and over 150 yards against a stout run D. The Auburn OL played good, but not great. It will need to improve to achieve the goals this year, but if it stayed the same Auburn would be a 9 win team.

At the LOS, absolutely. But, amazingly, they got only 1 sack and (I think) 2 TFL. They just seemed more or less to build a wall and stay there and our interior OL couldn't make a hole.

Miami is a top 20 team and will look great on a playoff resume. Simple as that.

Feel free to join in on that ban bet.

Both have some things to work on for sure. I was impressed with LSU's defensive line, and their running game.

Miami's OL, QB, and DB's were much worse that Washington's.

Based on game one, we have our hands full with LSU and I'm shocked at that fact.

This should not shock you. Ever. Have you followed the series at all?
