Two years after he created the greatest team in college football history? No chance

Like I said believe what you want. As a Alabama fan I hope Ed wins 9 games and gets to stay. He proved to me what he is last year when he hired Pellini

What about in 2019 when he dismantled everyone? You seem forget so easily

If Orgeron is fired, Billy Napier is likely the coach at LSU.

With O's players.

Now do what happened once his players filtered out.
There's no doubt that Orgeron can recruit. I was showing that a new coach was easily able to have very good teams with those players her recruited.

Why couldn't Orgeron do that at Ole Miss?

Everyone ? He beat Texas by 7, Aubbie by 3 and UA by 5

The LSU OL has gone backwards since he was hired and he hasnt recruited his way out of that deficit. We will see this year if a new OL coach can develop some up

He didn't really have enough time, his better players were mostly freshmen or sophomores when he was fired.

He also was never able to get a good quarterback.

There was talk that Ole Miss would be changing the offense and promoting Hugh Freeze to OC in 2008 but O was fired in favor of Nutt.

My point was that A&M has surpassed LSU in the past and is fully capable of doing so again. Hell, this whole thread is about Coach O's seat possibly getting warm as he has gone through yet another set of coordinators. BTW, I don't think that LSU firing yet another coach a few years removed from a NC is going to get every coach in America fighting to want to come to BR.

I guess we will find out.

O's seat isn't as warm as this board pretends it is.

5-5 looks bad but people forget that 5-5 in an all conference season is likely 8-4 with a regular season.

8-4 with everything LSU lost from 2019 and no offseason is pretty decent.

2021 will be the year that really puts O on the hot seat if he underperforms.

Anything below 9 wins and that seat will certainly be hot in 2022, if he's below 7 wins, he might get fired.

Jimbo would never leave A&M for LSU

1939 distance memory and TX 2nd fiddle impact to winning mindset / culture + the $10 million per year...

I would not leave A&M either

However, you used word "never", as if the 7-years he spent at LSU mean nothing or his A&M years now mean something. Either way, time to check yourself.

I wouldn't say never. I would say he has no real reason to do so, and A&M will absolutely take care of him. Furthermore, he has built the foundation at A&M and probably wants to finish what he started

I just love conndog tears. They are delicious.

Corn dogs go on and on how the Ags suck, haven’t done anything, but they want our coach.

“ Jimbo would be leaving ya cause he likes us more “....

My god are you people so naive that you don’t think money doesn’t drive where he goes?

But regardless, it’s delicious that you envy our coach and would hire him in a heartbeat....but the Aggies are overrated and it’s all a fluke.

Y’all are priceless. It’s like watching baboons dancing. Hysterical.
