If it came to that, Woody would hire Jimbo or Napier

Actually think Jimbo already told Woody that he tried but A&M won't take him back.

I could be wrong through. Might want to check with Tigerlawyer to confirm because he and Jimbo are apparently very tight.

If for nothing else, the meltdown from A&M fans would be glorious.

Jimbo would never leave A&M for LSU

Dont want Jimbo but you are actually insane if you think Jimbo wouldnt jump into the amount of talent LSU has.

Our freshman backup is better than any QB on A&Ms roster right now. And thats 100% fact

Would be funny watching the thousands of posts from LSU fans about Jimbo being "the guy" after the tens of thousands of posts saying A&M overpaid for him and got taken to the cleaners by Woodward on the way out.

LSU fans... dey simple minded fo sho.

Jumbos best days are behind him. FSU knew it so he bailed before he was fired.

Fact: Ed Orgeron hasn’t lost in Tiger Stadium East since 2017 (that was 4 years ago, oh wow )

The sad part is LSU hasn't beat Alabama in Tiger Stadium since 2010

Lane Kiffin

I hope this NEVER happens... A more mature Kiffin, a legit offensive savant, trollmaster, at a place like LSU...

Special Ed is 1-4 against Alabama, and the total score is 159 AL to 73 LSU. 2/5 of his games have been shutouts or 40%. I hope LSU never fires good ole Ed. We'll keep saying

Napier at Red Stick would suck for the rest of us.

These conversations are already happening internally. O is out it we go worse than 9-3

....which is a distinct possibility. LSU will be an underdog against Alabama and aTm. They are likely to lose to either Ole Miss or Florida, and there's a decent chance they could also lose to UCLA and/or Kentucky.

9-3 is the chalk. 10-2 or 8-4 are legit possibilities.

Anything outside that range will take a lot going right or a lot going wrong.

Either we have a solid bounce back year or we’re getting a new coach, looking long term I’m good with either outcome tbh. Woodward had already more than earned everyone’s trust in making a good hire and he knows his football hire will be his legacy here.

Kiffin would be a damn problem down there.
