There has been virtually no difference in recruiting between LSU and A&M since Jimbo arrived and that is with LSU able to recruit off a NC. They are basically even right now for 2022 but A&M has a lot more 5 Stars they are leading with and for the first time in memory LSU may not get anyone from the State of Texas.
Jimbo wins an SEC Title or Natty at A&M and no telling what he can do. LSU has a strong recruiting base in Louisiana but there is even more talent in Texas (9 Five Stars, 41 4 Stars). It's just getting over that last hump but if he can do it there is truly no limit.

I mean only that O has THREE top 5 classes in that span and Jimbo finished 5th once.

O doesn't recruit Texas nearly as much as Les Miles did.
There's only like 5 Texas kids on the 2021 roster and one is the kicker.
