How about we start with games that include personnel that will actually in this game. You know, games from this season?

Georgia is not invincible. They were exposed by Auburn, but it's tough to beat the same team twice.

The game will be close until mid 3rd quarter, then OU 's tempo will begin to take over.

Georgia's signature win was over Notre Dame, whom was highly overrated. Spread teams with good QBs traditionally put up yards on SEC defenses. Mike Stoops plans exceptionally well against power oriented teams.

Georgia's only chance is to out muscle OU, which won't happen as their speed and power are equal. If Baker gets injured though, Georgia will win.

Thanks for the tip. Who has 2 or 3 freshmen starting in their defensive backfield?

2003 was 14 years ago, moron. I know time moves slow in your world but that's just pathetic.

If it was simply because it was 14 years ago, what was the point of calling out White "hobbling" around... one of us is pathetic and walking back their story... it's not me.

Did I point to any one of our wins this season or in previous to indicate anything about how we would perform against Oklahoma? No... I've categorically shown in multiple threads now how UGA matches up favorably against Oklahoma using various analytical metrics, but that it will still be a good matchup. You can chuff off as much as you want as though you're some how being disparaged by UGA fans, but generally speaking, most have given Oklahoma credit for having a quality offense. Anyone who thinks UGA is just going to blow the doors off of Oklahoma is definitely underestimating them. I still think we could win by 10-14 or so, but as I've said numerous times, wouldn't be surprised to see it go the other way. Mayfield is good enough to do it if we can't keep him reasonably contained.

The game will be close, or lopsided like TCU-Ole Miss a couple years back. I've seen enough OU loses over the years, this OU team is not like the past teams.

I’d feel scared as frick if I were an Oklahoma fan. Look at all of Oklahoma’s post season games of relevance. This means national championship or playoff. Lost against LSU. destroyed by USC, dominated by Florida and emasculated by Clemson.

Y’all can beat your chest about consolation sugar bowls all day. Fact of the matter is, in crunch time Oklahoma has proven that they are, ironically, just like Georgia when it comes to winning the hardware.

I dislike oklahoma as well, but I don't see Georgia being able to keep up with the amount of points that OU will put on the board. Their offense is just ridiculous. I think it will be a close game with OU winning it.

If georgia plays ball-control offense and they can limit the amount of snaps that OU can take on offense, they will have a shot to win the game. Georgia must run the clock bigtime and be very efficient with their possessions.

So the following rushing juggernauts with a backfield full of five star studs did the following to OU this year:

5-7 Tulane -- 237
6-6 W.Va -- 251
7-5 KSt -- 268
9-3 OkSt -- 213

Biggest "IF" in the history of the universe.

5-7 Tulane -- 237 - triple option team
7-5 W.Va -- 251 - lost QB for season / ran wildcat all day
7-5 KSt -- 268 - doesn't throw the ball, hasn't for YEARS
9-3 OkSt -- 213 - got me here. Balanced team with an NFL RB.

ETA: None of these teams won.

That's why said if,but I have seen crazier things happen. But if that happens Georgia won't contain Oklahoma the entire game and will eventually fall behind. I actually think Fromm is one of the best qbs in the conference but a big stage like that is a heavy weight for a freshman to have on his shoulders.

Because none of them have a defense worth a shite.

How the hell did OU give up 35 to KSU, the same KSU that Vandy held to 7?

That's why it's good he has won at Notre dame, at ut before the players and fans quit, and in the benz vs au. He has been in high pressure situations away from Athens and stepped up.

This doesn't prove what you think it does. We run better than those teams and pass better and defend better. Add in baylor

Ga got off to an awful start in that W Va game. We came roaring back but just ran out of time. If I'm remembering correctly that may have been the year Georgia was said to be the most injured team in the country. I'm not absolutely sure about that -.its been a long time -.I do remember being disappointed but very proud of my Dawgs as I was walking out of the Dome.

Defend better based on what? You haven't defended anything like what you're about to see all season long. A healthy Auburn pounded you into strawberry oatmeal and our offense is waaay better than theirs and has many, many more weapons than they do.

Everybody else you played offensively, especially in your division, is at the bottom of the NCAA cellar in offense. You had to get past that 6-6 juggernaut named Missouri. Weeeeeeeee.....
