I don't hate Ole Miss like others do, but does Hugh always speak bible? He's gonna have to talk "real talk" soon.

Hugh has tweeted about religion almost exclusively since he was Arkansas State.

I have a feeling that the Jimmy Swaggart "I have sinned" speech may be next for Hugh.

We have a team chaplain on staff. And we play religious music at every practice. Hillsong, Kirk Franklin, Mercy Me, etc. The boys all attend church on Sunday. Pray before and after each practice and game.

We live the Holy Bible every day at Ole Miss.

Here's what he's been saying to the NCAA for a while now.

Is this how he prays?

An interesting perspective from Tunsil's former high school coach. Maybe coach should take a few notes.

LINK

quote:

“I’m not going to tell [Tunsil] what he wants to hear, but what he needs to hear,” said Allen. “He’s a great person that made a big-time mistake and he will be better because of it. Everybody makes mistakes, but how you respond from it defines you.

“I don’t hold back. [Tunsil] can be mad at me for what I’m going to tell him or he can love me to death for saying it, I don’t care. But that conversation is happening. He needs to trim his circle of people, make it small because any of them being in this same situation doesn’t have them on ESPN and the talk of social media. But Laremy being in it, it gets way blown up.”

quote:

What Allen does know is, as a high school football coach, Tunsil’s nightmare represents a huge teaching moment. Not just to remind Tunsil of the social media land mines out there, but the future Tunsils who are watching.

“College is tough,” said Allen. “You can be one person here [in Lake City] and a different one when you get under that peer pressure. You have to be strong-willed. Laremy wasn’t that guy [in the video] in high school. His Mom was strict with him and he was respectful.

“My kids on the football team are in awe and shock of what happened. They’re figuring out it’s a major learning experience of what they can’t do. I have no doubt [Tunsil] will listen to me. But listening and doing are two different things. What he does from there is up to him.”

Yes, Laremy Tunsil was the victim of despicable social media sabotage. But if he wants a long NFL career, he better listen to the coach that cares most about him and make better decisions.
