re: How would you rank these jobs as landing spots for head coaches? Rank within the group.

Georgia is far and away a deeper talent pool than Alabama, up there with Florida and California as the deepest in the country. I thought this was common knowledge
Georgia has better talent than Alabama for sure but nowhere near the California/Texas/Florida group

IMG academy alone is probably the #1 state for high school talent

UGA had to hire an unproven assistant the last couple of hires…

Just get it out of the way and say it...
It's so strange and surreal that you argue we only have one TE for offense and our coaching staff is bad, yet we beat your team badly and just finished off our second straight National Championship. Please explain your reasoning.

So you know nothing about the history of college football. Noted.
Saban & Bear and one of those literally was a lucky hire of epic proportions.
Sure, there's been success with a few others but those two skew numbers exponentially

I
Alabama has won an SEC championship in all ten decades the conference has existed. Bryant and Saban only coaches in half of those decades (60s, 70s, 00s, 10s, 20s).
I guess Bama just happened to luck into national and conference success for the other fifty plus years.
Bama won 176 games from 1923-1946, second only to Tennessee, who won 177. This period includes a couple of recognized national champions. That’s before Bryant coached there and Saban was born. Oh, and that’s 32 more wins than LSU in that span.
Bama won another 141 games from 1983 to 1999, good for 11th in college football. This period includes a consensus national championship. That’s after Bryant was dead and before Saban coached there. Oh, and that’s 35 more wins than LSU in that span.
Trying to paint Bama as the product of Bryant and Saban alone is a fool’s game.

Wallace Wade Frank Thomas Bear Bryant Nick Saban ..these GOATS are the only reason Bama is the GOAT of CFB..BAMA won't win championships without a legend...small state ..deep south...

On what basis?
5 Star recruits? Top 300? D1 Signees? P5 Signees? NFL rosters?
Top 247 talent

4. CALIFORNIA (19)

3. GEORGIA (27)
NFL Rosters: California slight lead over GA

4. Georgia — 144

but nowhere near
Nowhere near is a stretch at best and GA should surpass California in the next 5-10 years in almost every category.California has flatlined in population and participation rates are nowhere close where they were 20+ years ago.

More than half of the NC's though, hence the "skewed numbers" comment
And we all know how valuable "recognized Championships" are
83 - 99 was mainly thanks to Stallings who wasn't terrible.
Bama is 3rd on my list and I don't need you to agree with me.
