I get pissed at him short term about once a year. Other than that, I recognize him for what he is and feel lucky to have him. Right up till I want to kill him again.

I have more mixed feelings about him as a coach than probably anybody else.

He has not had any truly bad seasons.

At the same time he has some of the worst clock management skills I've seen from any major college coach. Until his playcalling lost them the game against Clemson a few years back though, he hadn't really been punished for it.

He wins games that he shouldn't, and probably doesn't deserve to, but I don't know if that's a good or a bad thing.

He does have a national title, but they also lost 2 games that season. It's possibly the least storied national title of the modern cfb era.

But he puts an overall good and consistent product on the field, and has yet to have a collapse like Muschamp, Mack Brown, or a continued overall slide like Bobby Bowden (at least not yet). Had he not lost to Bama in the title game he would likely be seen as one of the all time greats, no questions asked.

In other words I don't f***ing know.

Compared to Saban - terrible.

Overall he's not a bad coach and I doubt many schools wouldn't love to have him.

Les Miles does not have an expertise that lets you trust him. When Kevin Sumlin picks a quarterback, we sure as hell trust him to be the right guy for A&M. And I truly believe that Sumlin would have given Kyle Allen a shot if things weren't working. The offense is his baby, and the QB better treat it right.

With Les Miles, the O-line can struggle, QBs can be garbage, and you aren't sure who to blame, or what the hell is going on. He shows no willingness to change. Frustrating as hell.

I know that Les comes off awkward as hell at his press conferences', and in interviews. Eating grass doesn't help. But you dont consistently win as many games as he does, every year by being an idiot. Muschamp hasn't been able.

Alot of the decisions he makes in game and with personnel, might not make any sense at all, to anyone. But the dudes earned the right to make them.

Sumlin has only been through two QB's, and one was one of the best players in CF. Every coach does shite different. I like Sumlin and think hes a great coach, but Les has had more success than him doing things the retarded way he does.

I'd be fine with it if Saban was retired, Mullen was in the B 1 G, Sumlin was in the NFL, and Gus was a fulltime motivational speaker rather than a HC.

Yeah, I'd be fine with that.

I would be ok. He had a down year in 2008 and bounced back. Need better QB recruits.
