Your offensive players have been learning spread plays. It's not a stretch to say a learning curve will develop unde a new OC. Or he will add in some spread plays to adapt his playbill to the players on the roster, as he said he would.

That's totally different than recruiting "spread" players. The only players you could say are "spread" players are Reed and Bray, and with their offers coming out of high school, it wasn't just spread teams that wented both of them.

There's obviously going to be a learning curve on offense going from Malzahn to Leofler, but I think Leofler is flexible enough to ease them into it without trying to fit a square into a circle.

So much of it will depend on how our OL plays. Frazier too, obviously, but our OL was our downfall on offense last year.

I feel good about the defense with BVG and the returning experience. And our special teams are going to be phenomenal.

That's your opinion, but I still think I gave a fair assessment. I hope you're right and Auburn's players (old and new) will instantly adapt to the new coordinators and the new systems. I'm not sure how anyone can believe that, though.

My prediction was Auburn will be happy with a bowl game, and get 9 wins at the most. You are saying that is a dumb statement. Ok.

I didn't say a of the players could only play in a spread offense. I said they were recruited for the spread. If they adapt, Auburn will exceed expectations.

Auburn is 4th in the west next year. and in 2013 they battle for 3rd with LSU. Alabama and Arkansas will have cemented themselves as the new powerhouse programs and battle for 1st and 2nd the next couple of years.

Yup. It's not like new coordinators have ever had a positive influence in the big bad SEC.

I don't see Auburn beating UA, Georgia, LSU or Arky. I don't mean to be a dick but someone explain how KF is going to lead Auburn to victory against one of those teams.

What about Arky makes you think they are world beaters? They are coming to JHS. We love SEC refs in JHS.

Very good point. Au has a leg up on teams at home since they don't always actually have to have the ball in possession as they cross the goal line.

I have a feeling that KF isn't an SEC caliber QB and that AU is gonna fall flat on their face next year. I'm no football expert.....just think Auburn will be bad next year.

he D was bad because we had no returning starters. That problem is fixed now that 20 of 22 of the defensive 2 deep is returning.

The defense was bad because of the players were bad. Same bad players same bad play. Chizick hasnt fielded a good defense in his entire head coaching tenure. Au will win no more than 8 reg season games.
