Sorry, you gotta win a Natty in the Big 3 to qualify.

Petrino recruited no better or worse than the coaches that came before and after him.

What made him good was his game preparation, game management and talent development was second to none.

Arkansas beat Texas a lot more than Bear Bryant and Alabama.

There are many poor areas in Georgia and Florida and every SEC state.

Arkansas was preseason number 8 heading into the 2012 season.

Very likely would have been a 10-3/9-4 season.

The 2013 season would be a down year but no way in hell it would be a 0-8 SEC season.

6-6/7-5 season.

Both of the 14 and 15 seasons would be 10-2/11-1.

Arkansas spanked Georgia 31-10 in the 75 Cotton Bowl.

Everything has changed with the new NIL and the new transfer rule change for football. Arkansas has potential to get better recruits but the top donors elect to do other things with their money.

Petrino dominoed with talent, especially Arkansas kids, pretty quickly. That type of Arkansas talent is unusual coming in at one time and then mallet transferring in was huge. It just all came together which is rare here and it fit his system perfectly.

The chances of that happening for him again were slim to none but he made the most of it. I would have said he’d have lasted another 3 or four years before he petered out.

I remember when Lou came in and we pegged him as an offensive genius and he did great right off the bat but he played out pretty quick. Maybe coaches get too comfortable in Fayetteville…..

WTF has Missouri brought to any conference? Football program is just ok but every other sport at Mizzou is pure trash.

It’s been proven numerous times on this board that nobody in the state of Missouri watches Mizzou sports.

Its cardinals, Chiefs, Blues, Royals, then way down Missouri sports. Mizzou always has awful TV ratings

Proven numerous times on this board? LMAO....your comment shows how dense many on here are. I'll break it down for you...

Missouri has 1 PROFESSIONAL Football Team - Chiefs
Missouri has 2 PROFESSIONAL Baseball Teams - Royals & Cardinals
Missouri has 1 PROFESSIONAL Hockey Team - Blues

Missouri has numerous UNIVERSITIES and Colleges

Missouri has 1 main UNIVERSITY - Mizzou

We bring the Kansas City Market, Columbia Market, St Louis Market, Springfield Market, and many other regional markets to the SEC.

YOUR WELCOME !

Looks like the OP touched a nerve with this poor little piggy.

I, for one, appreciate the poor piggies. We enjoy the annual auto-win we get from them.

I guess to fit in the sec you need a two digit IQ. Georgia is safe!
