A&M besting 2012 Alabama is an example of beating a strong Saban team
2019 was not
Now 2020 Alabama was strong. And 2021 will likely be too. But we all know how that’s going to turn out for you

Bc he was the head coach at lsu. Lol, we are one of only 2 schools ever to win a natty with 3 consecutive coaches. Miami is the other. We have a huge and fruitful talent base with which to work and it helps cover coaching deficiencies. O is a better coach than many give him credit for as well.

For Alabama teams they were not good.
Compared to LSU they were about equal. A full strength 2019 Alabama team would be better for example

Coach O is a good coach, just the well went dry last year for LSU, They will be back and give us the best game of the year as always

It wasn't that Alabama had a bad team. They just had so many injuries that it resulted in what ended up being an aborted season. That's what it took for LSU to get over the Alabama hurdle.
Gotta hand it to Coach O for seizing a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity though, even if he does end up getting fired in the next few years for sucking so much arse
