Nope. From day one I knew RGIII was special and could help Baylor compete. He was better than Pryor as a Freshman and he was definitely the best player in college football his final season.

TM played spectacularly, but didn't have to every game.

being the best player on his team doesn't mean he is the best player in the country. He had a 10 win season, his team had an 8 win season without him. LSU went from a 13 win season to a 10 win season without Tyrann. I am not saying wither is worth that specific number, but it isn't like Baylor is that bad anymore

That wasn't his team and Nick Florence was no slouch.

Great player, more consistent than TM7 and meant more to his team.

The are quick to forget that Saban and UA continued to recruit Hill just as LSU did after his legal troubles were settled.

No haven't forgotten and it sparked quite a controversy, with that said he was given a chance and violated probation and no you can spin all you want by that was not a bar fight. That was assault on someone who was not able to defend himself.

I want to watch LSU win.

That was all you should have typed as this sums up what you meant. That said LSU doesn't need Hill to win. Whether he plays or not I don't care, but fan trying to make excuses for his behavior while demeaning a 14 yr old girl which has been done repeatedly is sad. Some of you sum it up as freshman versus senior by it was 18 yr old man versus 14 yr old girl.

bullshite. If he was so good he wouldn't have gotten burned by Kevin Norwood so much in LSUs embarrassing loss in the BCSNCG.

Good god you gumps are delusional. TM have up 4 catches for zero TDs. Yeah that getting worked.

The problem people have with Less is his players high recidivism rate.

I'm not sure I've heard anyone make this argument or how anyone feels like they have a handle on his recidivism rate.

The Perriloux and TM stuff was kept largely out of the public realm before they were dismissed. My assumption has been there are a lot more instances of kids testing positive for pot or getting in trouble for fighting, grades, etc that we don't end up hearing about.

If you can't see how freakishly lucky he was then I doubt there is any hope for you.

A great deal of his big plays that year involved fumble recoveries - a very random incident. Was the Synthetic Weed Badger a great player? Of course. Is he anywhere near what the LSU fanboys have made him out to be? No.

That he forced. Go watch his highlights, almost none of his big plays involved scooping a fumble caused by a teammate.

You're flat out wrong.

I would have kicked Hill off the team. I can understand some of these kids not having book smarts, many will make money playing football. However, I expect you to have enough common sense not to get in a bar fight. There is absolutely no reason to get into one.

You're dumb. there is a very short list of true sophomores to win the Bednarik Award. It begins and ends with one name.
There is a very short list of true sophomores to win SEC DEFPOY. It begins and ends with one name.

So get a clue

It is pretty far from random when you see a player time and time again force the fumble and then take the ball. This video shows some of those highlights:

Wow, a whole lot of these gumps sure are putting their two cents in on a topic about which they (allegedly) don't care.
