When does arky fire the TitBoss??? People are so obsessed with BK and LSU; always asking when does he get fired, how much longer, BLAH BLAH BLAH.
OP posted out past 2 plus current HC. Well.... here's yours
It's a common issue.
Every coach in this conference, other than Kirby, has performed statistically worse than BK, however he triggers these types of threads nearly daily.

Better worry about your sorry arse team

I don’t know how valid any of the lawsuits are. But in the last 15 seasons Kelly and/or the school and football program he has been head coach of were sued three times; twice by former players and once by the state of Indiana, and he has two seasons where all wins were vacated.
I was just responding to the poster who said Kelly has no scandals. No, he has some dirty laundry and skeletons. Maybe he has learned from them and there will be no more.

Notre Dame was sued by the state of Indiana?

in this climate of sports I don't see LSU moving on from Kelly with his buyout that is in place
He isn’t a bad coach and his buyout is too big even if he was.

Kelly won’t succeed at LSU and here’s why:
1. He’s incompetent when it comes to finding coordinators/assistants who know how to evaluate talent and develop players. House and Sloan are examples of this.
2. He lacks the ability to coach fundamentals and develop players.
3. He has a CEO-type approach when it comes to coaching and prefers to let his coordinators do the game-planning/scheming before games. This only works if you have a home-run group of elite coordinators who know how to game-plan.
All three of the above will get him on the hot seat, but LSU has a bigger problem with Woodward as the AD. He throws absolutely insane contracts at coaches who are not worth the value. He did it at A&M with Jimbo and pretty much buried their program.

Wut?
3 of his last 4 defensive coordinators are head coaches.
Just since he's been at LSU, they've put some pretty good players into the NFL.

Honestly ? At least three more years . We aren’t paying that buyout anytime soon . Just reality that we face . I had higher hopes for him but not sure we are the right fit .

Does developing a Heisman QB count?

How much longer does Kelly have before he is kicked to the curb?

Yet one of them was so bad that he managed to prevent LSU from being a national championship contender even with a Heisman QB.

Not fact

We WANT a playoff bid, but that isn't going to get him fired this season. I think the administration learned from the whole Miles/Orgeron disaster...
We thought we were better than Miles going 9-3, so we fired him. And couldn't get anyone to take the job. Eye opener there. Then we settled on Orgeron, who had one great season, but otherwise looked like a Miles replacement- kept the same defensive coordinator, etc. No overall improvement on Miles, just a random one-off good year (which Miles had also done). But then Orgeron went and ran the program off the rails, and we became a .500 program... that scared a lot of people. We thought that couldn't happen, and it did.
Kelly got us out of that ditch, and I think as long as he keeps us out, he's safe.

Most misleading data ever. Les was a joke! Anybody could have won given the situation Saban left him.
Very stupid take. Les was at LSU for eleven seasons and four games.
He inherited an awesome situation, but you don’t just stumble into that kind of winning percentage over a decade.
He also did it in the golden era of SEC football: Meyer (2), Fulmer (1), Spurrier (1), Saban (5), and Richt were all still in the league. Gene Chizik won a title at Auburn during that time.
Les is guilty of many sins. But the narrative that he just tripped over his own dick on the way to a HOF winning percentage over 11 years in the SEC is just wrong.

After he wins the national championship this season hopefully we extend for another 10 years because we see many more coming with the progress he’s making. Scott Woodward is a genius.

Wrong. DeBoer has won 87% of his games

DeBoer at Bama - .692
Kelly at LSU - .725

8-4 or worse this year and his seat is on fire. 9-3 with losing the opener to Clempson, he'd have the fan base pretty pissed off but probably not gone.
Realistically this is a huge put up or shut up year for him. Brings back a QB with the 2nd best Heisman odds and we invested in the portal this year to fill a bunch of holes. SEC schedule is relatively tame with road trips to Gumptown and Oxford, home games against A&M and Florida. My expectation is that we should be contenders for SEC and national title.
It can't be understated how big winning the opener @ Clempson would be after the past 4 years but won't be a short order with Klubnik coming back.

He’s actually not in the HOF. That’s why he filed a lawsuit.
