So, the Cam has cost them about $370,000 so far....I guess the payoff is still worth it.

Fans like you make me wish that AU is proven innocent in all this.

for the record, Robin, all objective fans have this stance - myself included.

whatever the outcome - we will have to live with it - good ro bad.

I have good friends and family who live and die for AU football and I don't want to see them have to deal with bigtime sanctions. A slap on the wrist is one thing but I don't care to see any major program-changing punishment come down. Not good for the rivalry, the State of Alabama or college football.

Troy has Larry "keep it down home cuz" Blakney as the HC. His mentor was none other than Pat Dye. So, you better believe Troy Univ. football is shady as hell.

And who was Pat Dye's mentor??? Hmmm...I wonder??

Cyrus K. was a 10x bigger recruit than Cam Newton. Since AU pays big time recruits, I guess UA outbid us????

It just came to light that Auburn has ALREADY shelled out $170,000 dollars on legal fees associated on "something" associated with your starting Quarterback of whom many have associated "questions" about.

Did you already know they had spent $170K on lawyer to defend Cam's innocence...

If so, when were you going to tell us???

If you think it is news or a revelation that AU hired lawyers with all the crap going on this fall, you are dumber than I previously thought (which is hard to believe).

Any school, business or person with an IQ high enough to tie their shoes would have hired lawyers in the same circumstances.

Just so you know, hiring a lawyer only implies guilt to those not familiar with the way our society works.

Any person with common sense has a lawyer in his back pocket, if for nothing more than protection.

AU hired some damn good ones too, IMO.

Slive just said the NCAA was in the process of dropping the hammer on your team and you think I should be mad?

Can you please post the link where Slive said what you claim?

You are mad it is in the way you write. It angers you that Auburn has done so well and the only way for you to deal with it is to proclaim Auburn corrupt. You have claimed Auburn paid Cam and Cecil 200K yet I have never once seen anything from you that proves this happened.

I hope you are never condemned with such evidence as innuendo, rumors, and shoddy media hit pieces. Oh one more thing if you cannot reply with Links of Slive saying Auburn is getting the hammer or proof where Cam received 200K GTFO.

Knock on wood - I've never been in trouble with the law in my life. But, I have my lawyer and my accountant's number on speed dial - just for insurance purposes.

IMO, It's better to have 'em and not need 'em, than to need 'em and not have 'em....
