How much did Tua's "injury" contribute to 46-41

Sure the fumble was likely from a lack of practice time but Joe had his own fumble that gave Bama much better field position than LSU got from Tua's so its essentially a non factor. He likely doesnt score on that run anyway and nothing is a sure thing with Alabama kickers.

Some say his pocket mobility was greatly diminished but Tua still had 3 rushing attempts on the day which was about average for his 2019 season and was only sacked once. Saban didnt think he was too bothered:

quote:

I thought he had short-area quickness in the pocket. Maybe he couldn't run 100 percent. Maybe it was 90 percent. I don't know."

Finally, why was Tua limping more after the loss to LSU than he was right after the actual injury?

He faked it after we beat them. He was fine to play until we locked the game up.

They were on the goal line about to score against a reeling D. Tua's fumble was huge and could be fairly called the biggest play of Bama's season. But it's a huge stretch to say that it was injury related.

He was limping bad after halftime. Which is normal when you rest after an adrenaline rush of 1 half of football.

Also, we won the National Championship. Who GAF about how Tua was feeling that day.

They werent on the goal line, it was third down and he likely doesnt score on that play anyway.

I was told he was 100% and to look at how he did vs Oklahoma and that his ankle was actually stronger after the surgery.

Member that, dipshit?

His injury didn't hurt Bama's defense.

Thats cool but I asked why he was limping so much during the LSU game compared to when the injury actually happened.

Boys, I hate to have to tell you this, BUT y'all ain't gonna make up for 8 straight years of arse whippings with 1 off season worth of threads....no matter how many times you beat that dead horse.

First drive after halftime, returned to the Bama 42 yard line.

Game wouldve likely got out of hand if LSU scores again there.

Those were just to make up for all the arse whippings you took in the early 2000s.

Could have been because he didn't have the surgery on his ankle till after the game he was hurt during. So he was dealing with that maybe? It was a minor surgery but they still drilled a hole in the bone in his leg. I'm sure it was sore.

But to answer your original question, it wasn't Tua's "injury" that contributed to the loss. It was all the injuries on the defense.
