Imagine having such an insignificant life that you have time to scroll through 3 years of post history to find a comment that is irrelevant to the argument that PG is a better recruiter than Lane’s socially awkward arse.

You’re both autistic so not surprised you simp for him. How much is your disability check each month?

Jump on a Teams call and I'll show you how to use the "search" function. It'll blow your mind.

You better be more concerned about watching a possible train wreck in Baton Rouge

What is the thought process behind believing that Lane in Baton Rouge is going to be some massive disaster? He may never win a natty, he may leave for a better job, but I can't see some meltdown where they're winning 4 or 5 games a year or something.

You may be right but wow it’s going to blow some of y’all’s mind if he is actually really good! You and I don’t know for sure but I’m putting my money on him sustaining this success!

He’s off to a great start but you can keep hoping he will forget how to recruit and coach at a high level. It’s unhealthy but you can keep doing it.

It just feels like these things rarely ever work out, especially when it's an assistant that really wasn't getting mentioned for other jobs.

ETA - I'm neutral on whether he will be good or not, really no way of knowing at this point

He put a fairly mediocre defense on the field in 2025. Where is your confidence, that he is going to be the "next great Saban disciple", coming from?

Mainly that they managed to win 13 games with the worst defense they are ever gonna have.

What is any of that based on? You lost over half of the coaching staff that you had.

You mean like hiring coaches that doubted themselves and their teams at previous stop and jumped to LSU because they thought the program was going to win it for them?

Yeah doesnt usually end up in sunshine and rainbows

LSU has more resources than Ole Miss, it isn't really debatable. The question is if the coach will work as hard at LSU as they did at their previous stop or not.

Maybe if they can keep their nose out of the distractions…. Maybe… just maybe

In the Internet age and with the money coaches make these days, every job has plenty of distractions. I don't think one has more than any other really. A coach can jump on a private jet and be anywhere in a couple of hours.

End of discussion.

That god awful trophy you LSU fans conceived and then milled and worked on to no avail sits in Oxford Mississippi tonight. Come and take it.

I say hes gonna be done in 3, the whole hire still feels like Ole Miss shite the bed and he was nothing more than the rebound hire .

I believe he will out last Kiffin. Because LSU has high expectations at LSU to win a championship there.
