True….but ALL THOSE TEAMS ahead of us in the polls that year lost. They fell like dominos those last weeks to make that championship happen. Yes, we were extremely lucky to have the opportunity for a rematch.

2001 Nebraska was absolutely destroyed by Colorado in the Big 12 Championship something like 63-30. They got in the BCS championship

2)this year they squeaked by an undefeated Florida state who won their power 5 conference and got left out because their starting quarterback got hurt (lol)
I know op isn't crying about this still. It took you 3 1/2 quarters to cross the 50 yard line and the game wasn't competitive at all. Seems the committee made the right choice there.
I know I’m missing other ones. Help me out

Every team that wins it all has luck: schedule luck, or injury luck, or pulling a game out of their arse during the season, or having teams above them lose, or all of the above. I have zero problem saying we've had some luck over the years.
