because of the fact that losing to LSU kept you from winning the West
can't win them all.

UT is the only team I always enjoy watching lose. Plus, having the team that beat you go on to lose only makes your own team look worse.

Lifelong Tiger and Chiefs fan here, feel like a glutton now pulling for Burrow and Mahomes at the same time. Really strange turn around.

Bama will dickride LSU because they couldn't get it done against Clemson last year in the NC.

I'm just rooting for crazy good games. After watching UGA's offense for 13 games I need some fun in my life.

That’s a good attitude. Clemson is going to be the much more difficult matchup for LSU and you should want to beat them.

The one thing I will say is OU is used to LSUs style of O and OU can win a shoot out and has a very experienced qb that can run like a tailback.

Will they beat lsu, doubt it.

None. I only acclaim for one team.

If 30 points with overtime is considered a shootout in today's high octane offenses in college ball, OU doesn't stand a chance against LSU. Just saying.

I'm cheering for LSU in this playoff unlike the past. As much as I hate them beating us, I like Ed O and the Burrow story. Plus it just helps in the future because it helps the SEC next year in the committees mind they will remember who won the title(see Clemson). So when we beat them in the Swamp, will be more highly praised.

I would expect Aggies, Bama and Gators to cheer for OU. Who else?

You obviously don't know the A&M/Oklahoma history.

I am an old SEC loyalist. Younger people don't know it but back in the day the SEC was regularly crapped on by the national media. I guess I developed a bunker mentality. I like to see the conference teams win all of their OOC games.

I am glad the SEC is now taken seriously by the national media. When you see fans of other conferences taking a shot at the SEC you know it is a good thing. The SEC has become public enemy #1 by fans of these other conferences. I love it.

Good point, but interestingly the majority of Aggie responses on this thread are for OU

I said I doubt it as it pertains to OU beating them, so reading may not be your strong suit.

But if you think you will win just by showing up, it is at least possible you will be in for a surprise. Ou is accustomed to your style of play while many in the sec are not.

BINGO!
Most of the posters around here weren't even born when the SEC took a backseat to most of the other conferences plus ND and Penn. St.
