How many of your students saw SEC titles in the big 3 sports?

LSU students from 2016-2020 saw baseball (2017), basketball (2019) and football (2019)
LSU students from 2005-2009, 2006-2010, 2007-2011, and 2008-2012 also had this opportunity.
Can any other school claim this?

You realize these are 5 year spans, yeah?

Normally you start in the fall and graduate in the spring. For example the kids getting to college right now in the fall of 2020 are graduating class of 2024.
ETA: if you went to LSU from 2006-2010, you wouldn’t have seen the 2006 basketball season or the 2010 football season.

I get that. Just making sure you're spans include the school year, not the calendar year. And I don't feel like looking all that up.

Good to see LSU is still trying to pretend that college baseball matters. Hold the rope and never let the dream die.

It is based on school year and what seasons you would have been a student for.

The class of Mississippi State Students who graduated in 1941 (Football), who then fought in the war, came back worked for a while, who then went to grad school in 1948 (Baseball) and 1949 (Baseball), who then worked some more and decided they wanted to teach so they came back and started their PhD in 1959 ( Basketball) and depending on how long it took them to write their dissertations they could have seen 3 more Basketball championships in 1961, 1962 and 1963.

A&M classes of 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 saw A&M basketball win the SEC and A&M baseball win the SEC tournament.

I was at LSU from fall 1987 through fall of 1991. Saw several SEC titles in baseball, 1988 in football, and 1991 in basketball.
Still seemed pretty sucky because it was the Mike Archer era and the beginning of the dark ages of LSU football.

If I had a nickel for every SEC tittie I’d seen in my predator days, well...

I was at LSU for football SEC co-championship in 1961, and for baseball championship in 1962, and although in graduate school during the Maravich era, no championship in basketball.

There is no "Big 3." No one cares about college baseball outside the SEC. Football and basketball fund the other sports, baseball included. One of the best things about this pandemic is that we didn't have to pretend to care about college baseball this year.

Sorry Alabama is the Arkansas of Baseball. I'd try to downplay it too if my team finished 7th in the West every year and had 0 fan support.

When I was at LSU (84-89) I got 2 SEC Football championships, 1 SEC basketball championship (also a Final 4 and a Final 8) and 1 SEC baseball championship. Then LSU football fell off the map while LSU baseball exploded.

We have almost zero fan support in just about every sport that isn't named football, yet you don't see me downplaying basketball. Football and basketball are the cash cows of college athletics. Without them the other sports would die.
